KINGDOM COLOURS
Pentacles (earth) = Green
Wands (fire) = Red
Chalices (water) = Dark Blue (almost black)
Swords (air) = Light Blue (very pale)
Princesses of All Kingdoms
NEWBORN:
pure white, white/blue eyes
ONCE WED:
body remains white, mane & tail are tipped in the colour of her mate's kingdom by the power of his ace
The Royalty of Swords ... Air
BUILD: small & agile (adapted to mountainous terrain)
ex. arabian, lustiano, andalusian, trakehner
NEWBORN:
- entirely black
TWO YEAR OLD:
- body has faded to a vibrant blue
- legs, muzzle, mane & tail remain black
THREE YEAR OLD+ (until coronation):
- entire body has faded to a pale pastel blue
- black mane & tail
CORONATION:
- mane & tail become light grey-blue; hooves are changed pure white by his kingdom's ace
- the blessing of the queen is given to him at the end of the coronation ceremony and manifests in an extravagant flourish of white on his cheek
The Royalty of Wands ... Fire
BUILD: tall & fast (adapted to the open plains)
ex. thoroughbred, warmblood, hanoverian, oldenburg
BEFORE CORONATION:
- entirely black
CORONATION:
- hooves, eyes, mane & tail are changed brilliant red by his kingdom's ace (mane & tail are gold-tipped)
- body remains black
- the blessing of the queen is given to him at the end of the coronation ceremony and shows as a thin white ring around the eyes
The Royalty of Chalices ... Water
BUILD: generally, medium height but sturdy (adapted to harsh coastal winters; absolutely NO feathering allowed because of marsh)
ex. welsh cob, welsh pony, mustang, canadian horse, barb
NEWBORN:
- entirely black
THREE YEAR OLD:
- entire body has gradually changed to a very dark blue
- mane & tail remain black
CORONATION:
- mane, tail, hooves & eyes changed to magnificent sapphire blue by his kingdom's ace; eyes change to bright blue
- the blessing of the queen is given to him at the end of the coronation ceremony and manifests in a very thin flourish of white on his cheek
The Royalty of Pentacles ... Earth
BUILD: giant & strong (adapted to old-growth forest; no need to run; always feathered & coldblooded)
ex. shire, clydesdale, percheron, friesian, andalusian, jutland
NEWBORN:
- entirely black
TWO YEAR OLD:
- body has changed gradually to deep brown
- legs, muzzle, mane & tail remain black
THREE YEAR OLD:
- entire body has become deep, rich brown
CORONATION:
- mane, tail, hooves & eyes changed to luscious green by his kingdom's ace
- the blessing of the queen is given to him at the end of the coronation ceremony and manifests in a thick, dramatic flourish of white on his cheek
